SOUTH GOULDSBORO – Carroll L. Quinn Sr., 62, who died May 6, 2006, was born June 14, 1943, in North Lubec. He was the beloved son of the late Almon Quinn and late Ethel (Cox) Quinn. He was a resident of Milford, Mass. for 29 years before moving to South Gouldsboro nine years ago, a place he grew up as a young boy, before moving to Boston in 1955. He graduated from Boston Trade High School, Class of 1960. He worked for 26 years as a skilled tradesman at General Motors in Framingham having retired in 1994. He was a member of UAW Local 422. He was the beloved husband of the late, Cheryl (Hicks) Quinn, who died on the same day, May 6, 1997, after 35 years of marriage; cherished father of daughter and son-in-law, Angela Quinn Crispi and David of Needham Mass.; son and daughter-in-law, Lee Quinn and Lorianne of Mendon, Mass.; loving grandfather of Thomas, Lauren, Nicolas and Michael; and dear brother of Louis Quinn of West Gouldsboro. He leaves many dear family members and friends. A remembrance reception in memory of Carroll will be hosted 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 2, by his family at the Knights of Pythias Schoodic Lodge, Route 1, Gouldsboro. All are invited.
