ENFIELD, Conn. – Cecile L. (Lizotte) Clavette, 88, of Enfield, Conn., entered into eternal life on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, in Enfield, Conn. Cecile was born Aug. 6, 1916, in St. Agatha, the daughter of the late Victorie and Azeline (Michaud) Lizotte and beloved wife of 56 years to the late Medley Clavette, who passed in 1991. She had resided in Connecticut and Florida for the past 25 years, also in Maine during the summer months and the past three years in Enfield, Conn. Prior to her retirement in 1976, Cecile was employed by Economy Fabrics of Hartford for 25 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. Her life revolved around her family. Cecile is survived by two daughters, Rolande M. Kelting and her husband, Roger, of Enfield, Normande M. Thibodeau and her husband, Marcel, of Newington, Conn.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grand-children; two brothers, Zepheraine Lizotte of New Hampshire and Roger Lizotte; two sisters, Rita Landry and Anita Chasse, all of Maine; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cecile was predeceased by a daughter, Fernande M. Guimond. A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, followed by interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, both in Madawaska.
