MADAWASKA – Cecile (Ayotte) Ouellette, 90, died April 26, 2005, at a Fort Kent nursing home after a long illness. She was born March 21, 1915, in St. Agatha,, the daughter of Josephel and Marie (Albert) Ayotte. Cecile was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Parish in Frenchville, Ladies of Auxiliary Cyr Plourde Post 145 of Frenchville, Daughters of Isabella, Circle 546 of Madawaska, a member of L’Union St. John Baptiste, and was an elementary school teacher for St. Agatha and Frenchville for 35 years. She is survived by two sons and their family, Lester and his wife, Anne, of Madawaska and two grandchildren, Mike and Tina; two great-grandchildren, James and Thomas Ouellette of Florida; Clifford and his wife, Tina, of Madawaska; three grandchildren, Mark, Kim and John; five great-grandchildren, Mathew, Dominic and Mariah Martin of Bangor; and Adam and Cameron Ouellette of Old Orchard Beach; two brothers, Leonide Ayotte of St. Agatha and Alcide of Plainville, Conn.; five sisters, Claire Nadeau of Frenchville, Annette Nadeau of Meriden, Conn., Aurore Pelletier of New Britain, Conn., Yvette Plourde of Newington, Conn. and Hilda Bosse of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Oneil J. Ouellette in 1976; one brother, Lawrence Ayotte; and one sister, Cora Albert. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in Frenchville, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 28, and 8:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Luce Catholic Church with the Rev. James Albert officiating. Interment in the St. Luce Cemetery.
