RYE, N.H. – Wilfred J. Losier, 84, died April 21, 2005, at Haven Health Center, in Hampton, N.H., after a short illness. He was born July 20, 1920, in Orono, the son of Adolph Joseph and Delia Mary Burton Losier. He attended Orono schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946 and in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. He worked as a welder at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard until his retirement in 1981. Wilfred enjoyed camping, traveling, billiards and bowling. He is survived by three sisters, Geneva O’Connell and her husband, Charles, of Bangor, Joan C. Morrill of Bangor and Betty Pelletier of Sarasota, Fla.; his sister-in-law, Beverly E. Losier of Cape Coral, Fla.; his stepdaughter-in-law, Kathleen A. Morrill of Orrington; his stepson-in-law, Paul E. Morrill and his wife, Jeannette, of Bangor; several nieces, nephews and stepchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Lacy Losier; and four brothers, Roy, John, Earl and Robert Losier. Arrangements in New Hampshire were made by Farrell Funeral Home of Portsmouth. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2005, at Pine Hill Cemetery, Orrington, with the Rev. Adam Soderberg officiating. Arrangements by Foley Funeral Home, 299 Union St., Bangor.
