HUDSON – Christine Thurston, 60, died Feb. 28, 2005, at her home after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Hudson, the daughter of Donald and Beatrice (Bubar) Peirce Sr. She had been a Shoe Shop employee for several years and spent several years as a foster mother. She loved selling almost anything and recently enjoyed helping at B & K’s Tanning Salon. In addition to her close friend, Merl Knowlton; she is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hall and her husband, Robert; a son, Ronald and his wife, Deanna, all of Hudson; a sister, Margaret Timon and her husband, Reginald, of Lancing, Kan.; two brothers, Donald Peirce Jr. and Phillip Peirce, both of Hudson; two grandchildren, Brandy Webb of Hampden and Kayla Thurston of Hudson; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, officiating. Spring burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.
