BANGOR – Clement H. Schinck, 81, went to be with the Lord Feb. 14, 2005, at the Maine Veteran’s Home in Bangor. He was born Aug. 22, 1923, in Brunswick, the son of Zephrin and Bertha (Labbe’) Schinck. Clement was an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Pine Cone Council No. 114 Knights of Columbus and a member of the 4th degree. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor and was very active both in his church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie Jeannette Schinck of Bangor; four sons, Jean Paul Schinck of Bucksport, Moe Schinck of Brewer, Robert G. Schinck and wife, Starlene, of Levant and Russell R. Schinck of Georgia; one daughter, Marcelle Louise Rodebaugh and husband, Ralph, of Bangor; one sister, Rejane Kinny of Connecticut; 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Nick Grant of Bucksport. Friends and relatives are invited to the Greenlawn Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. Thursday. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in the spring with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
