MAPLETON – Cleo C. Page, 62, died Aug. 18, 2007, at her home. She was born May 17, 1945, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Stanley and Ethel (Randall) Giles. Cleo graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1963. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed quilting and working in her flower gardens. She is survived by her mother, Ethel Giles of Presque Isle; two daughters, Carmen Amero and her husband, Jay, and Shawna Page and her special friend, David, all of Presque Isle; six grandchildren, Danny, Jaimee, Nicholas, and David Amero and Christina and Taylor Skidgel; a brother, Neil Giles and his wife, Beverly, of Fort Fairfield; a sister, Eloise Wood and her husband, Gordon, of Presque Isle; a half brother, Paul Giles and his wife, Diane, of Brewer; a half sister, Elizabeth Chase and her husband, Phil, of North Carolina; several nieces, nephews; and a special friend, Tom Engstrom of Mapleton. A memorial gathering will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at her garden, 880 Mapleton Road, Mapleton, with the Rev Rick Kavanaugh officiating. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Logan P.
