STOCKHOLM – Clyde A. Anderson, 76, of Madawaska Lake, Stock-holm, died Dec. 13, 2003, at U. Mass Memorial Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1927, at New Sweden, the son of Anton and Dora (Larson) Anderson. Clyde was a World War II veteran, a member of the American Legion Perkin-Plourde Post 136, Stockholm, and attended the Covenant Church of New Sweden. He was employed as a construction superintendent for Granger Contracting in Worcester, Mass., Norflor Construction in Florida, and CRS Sirine of Texas, specializing in building hospitals and schools until he retired in 1987. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Francine (Hackett) Anderson of Madawaska Lake; two sons, Dean Anderson and his wife, Pam, of Petersburg, N.J., Bryan Anderson of Falmouth, Mass.; two daughters, Jayne Beland and her husband, Donald, of Millbury, Mass., Tamara Cayer and her husband, Kevin, of Mashpee, Mass; eight grandchildren, Derek, Scott, Jeffrey, Jared, Keith, Monique, Steven and Jacquelyn; two brothers, Mickey Anderson and his wife, Gloria, of Millbury, Mass., Clifton Anderson and his wife, Irma, of New Sweden; five sisters, Evelyn Archer and her husband, Leon, of Presque Isle, Jeanette Goranson and her husband, Alton, of DeBary, Fla., Clarice Helstrom and her husband, Marshall, of New Sweden, Ina Noel and her husband, Paul, of Millbury, Mass., Rosella Anderson of Caribou; one brother-in-law, Allison Hackett and his wife, Pat, of Holden, Mass.; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Andrew Anderson, Leslie Anderson and George Anderson; and by five sisters, Audrey Thorsen, Viola Sturgen, Irene Tetrault, Louise Pude, and Doris Michaud. Family and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Evangelical Covenant Church, New Sweden, with the Rev. Shelly Timber, pastor, officiating. Spring interment will be in the New Sweden Cemetery, New Sweden.
