LINCOLN – Cynthia H. Tripp, 58, wife of Luther Tripp Jr., passed away Nov. 9, 2007, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1949, in Biddeford, the daughter of William and Lorraine (Schultz) Whitten. Cyndy enjoyed being around her home, inside and out, keeping her family together as a family. She enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating cakes. She also loved to go four-wheeling with her husband. In addition to her father of Biddeford and her husband, she is survived by four children, Carolyn Kettle of Lincoln, Melissa Springer of Whitefield, April Wilkie of Fairfield and Luther Tripp III of Bangor; seven grandchildren, who were very special to her, Beth Thurlow, Billy Kettle, Alyssa Tripp, Shayleigh Springer, Lucas Tripp, Taylor Wilkie and Caleb Clark; and two brothers, Raymond and Wayne Whitten, both of Biddeford. She was predeceased by a sister, Mandy Whitten. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carolyn Metzler officiating.
