CARIBOU – Dale D. Gagnon Sr., 55, died Feb. 18, 2006, at his Caribou residence after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 20, 1950, in Caribou, the son of Dennis and Jeannette (Corbin) Gagnon Jr. He was a graduate of the Caribou high school and also graduated from NMVTI in Presque Isle. Dale was employed at Cyr Brothers for 10 years, Potato Service for 17 years, MPG for two years and McCain’s for 10 years. He attended the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Dale liked to walk the bike path in Caribou. If you needed Dale, you could always find him at the Caribou McDonald’s drinking coffee and socializing with his friends. Dale was into bike riding and loved riding his 10-speed bike all over the countryside. If Dale wasn’t working he would be visiting either his parents or brother and sisters. Surviving in addition to his parents, Dennis and Jeannette of Caribou; are one son, Dale Gagnon Jr. and his wife, Leslie, of Caribou; one daughter, Jeannie Marie Martin of Kenduskeag and her fiance, Charles Trafton; one brother, Frank Gagnon Sr. and his wife, Iris, of Benton; four sisters, Linda Gagnon and her husband, Darrell, of Plant City, Fla., Cynthia Wilcox and her husband, Russell, of Caribou, Denise McCormack and her husband, Patrick, of Woodland and Janet Pignatiello and her husband, Joseph, of Perham; six grandchildren, Danielle, Kristina, Alexx, Emily Anne and Joshua Martin and Mackenzie Bell; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Dennis and Odiana (Caron) Gagnon Sr. and Frank and Rose (Saucier) Corbin. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Spring interment will take place in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
