ALTON – Daniel K. “Wheels” LeClair, 36, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday Nov. 19, 2005, after a long illness. He was born Nov. 27, 1968, in Bangor, the son of Andrew J. and Dorene H. (Beers) LeClair. Daniel was a graduate of Old Town High School, Class of 1987 and continued his education at Beal’s College, earning an associates degree in data processing. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as “driving” his car, fishing and playing computer games. Despite his illness, Daniel continued enjoying these hobbies, proving he was a fighter until the end. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his father, Andrew J. LeClair and his wife, Laurie LeClair, of Argyle; brother, Andrew LeClair and his wife, Selena, of Argyle; brother, Kevin LeClair and his wife, Wendy, of Newburgh; stepbrother, Linwood Kalel and his wife, Elisha, of Old Town; brother, Matthew LeClair of Argyle; six nephews, Andrew Jr., Freeman, Ethan, Kyle, Brock, Caleb; niece, Jordan; great-niece, Haley and special friend, Chris Young. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorene (Beers) LeClair; and grandfather, Kenneth Beers. Friends may call 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of memorial service 12 p.m. at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Eddie Costain officiating.
