MILFORD – David E. Spencer, 56, died unexpectedly Nov. 14, 2004, in Milford. He was born June 29, 1948, in Bangor, the son of Robert L. and Grace A. (LeClaire) Spencer Sr. David loved playing bingo and raking blueberries. In addition to his mother, Grace A. Oakes of Holden; he is survived by his wife, Linda (Scott) Spencer of Massachusetts; three children, David, James and Joshua Spencer, all of Brockton, Mass.; one granddaughter, Alexis Spencer of Brockton, Mass.; three brothers, Richard Spencer and his wife, Frances, of Palmyra, Tenn., Michael Spencer and his wife, Una, of Holden and Randy Spencer of East Bridgewater, Mass.; two sisters, Mary White of Lincoln and Lisa Bowen and her husband, Troy, of Otis; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and by his maternal grandmother, Myrtle Spencer in 2003. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer, where friends may visit from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. The Rev. Dr. Jerry Mick, pastor of the Bangor Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of choice.
