ELLSWORTH – Delores “Dodie” Moore, died Dec. 31, 2007, at an Ellsworth hospital, with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Winslow Moore and Mabel (Rolfe) Moore of Lamoine. She was a hard worker, holding down two or three jobs at a time, and also took care of any stray animal that came her way…even mountain lions. She helped to locate homes for Great Danes and had two of her own. She leaves two younger sisters, Deirdre and husband, Richard Fennelly Jr., of Lamoine, and Darlene and husband, Chris McCann, of Waterboro; two brothers, Jeff Moore and companion, Vicki, of Trenton, and James Moore of Surry; three nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew and one great-niece, all of whom she loved very much. She was loved and will be missed by a lot of special friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Faith Fellowship Church at Back Bay, Milbridge, with Pastors Ambrose Rolfe and Frank Rolfe officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beth Wright Cancer Center.
