GLENBURN – Denise Ann Dunning of Glenburn, died Dec. 17, 2005, surrounded by friends and family. She was born Jan. 14, 1953, in Boston, Mass. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. She leaves her devoted husband of 32 years, Arnold Dunning of Glenburn; two daughters, Kristin King of Bangor, Irene Archer and her husband, Dwight of Augusta; and one son, Drew Dunning and his fiance, Marianne Fortier, of Bangor. She had special sons, Gary, Robert, Andy, Josh, Paul and Jessie. Denise is also survived by three brothers, Steven Murray and his wife, Brenda, of Brewer, Edward Murray and his wife, Marie, of Duluth, Minn. and Timothy Murray of Bangor. She has three grandchildren, Carrie King, Jessica King and Rowan Archer. She will be deeply missed by her stepfather, Warren Young, to whom she was very close; and several nieces and nephews. Denise had many friends and special friends in, Dell Clarkson, Bonnie Rogan, Linda Query, Suzette Osnoe and Sandy Noble. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis Murray and Irene Young; and a brother, Michael. Denise worked for many years as a mental health worker at BMHI and for the past nine years as a member of the DHHS MR Crisis Team for Region III. She will be missed by the team, the consumers and the providers, as she was a strong team member and consumer advocate. Denise devoted her life to working with special needs folks and taking care of her family. She will be remembered for her many interests. Denise loved anything to do with Egypt and had a room decorated with Egyptian relics. Denise loved going to Las Vegas with Arnie and friends. Everyone will miss and remember her famous, spaghetti Christmas dinner. The family will be receiving friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005. Interment will be in the springtime. Denise was a spiritual person and all of those who knew her, want to wish Denise well on her journey to the other side. Merry Meet. Merry Part.
