SALEM, N.H. – Donald J. Anderson, 53, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Mass. He was born in Caribou, grew up and was schooled in New Sweden, and attended Caribou High School. He was a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Physics, and he received his MBA. He was a resident of Salem, N.H. for the past 17 years, formerly of Derry, N.H. Mr. Anderson was a sales engineer for Freescale Semi Conductors in Woburn, Mass. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Salem, N.H. He enjoyed running, skiing, basketball, and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Maureen (Donnellan) Anderson of Salem, N.H.; two sons, Eamon J. Anderson of Salem, N.H., Tyler P. Anderson of Salem, N.H.; his parents, Edmund and Eloise (Larsson) Anderson of New Sweden; one brother, Roger Anderson of Maine; two sisters, his twin sister, Dorothy Anderson of Vermont, Vonla Murdock of Maine; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be held 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005, at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2005, at the First Congregational Church, Lawrence Road, Salem, N.H. Cremation will follow.
