BLAINE – Dorine Faye Townsend, 82, died Dec. 13, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Robinson, the daughter of Hallie and Effie (Lewis) Weeks. Dorine is survived by her daughter, Vicki McCrum and her husband, Keith, of Westfield; her son, Harvard Townsend and his wife, Pam, of Blaine; six grandchildren, Pauline Higgins, Barbara Bartlett, Greg McCrum, Derek Townsend, Troy McCrum and Matthew Townsend; 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Estle Townsend and his wife, Gerry, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pierce of Presque Isle, Sybil Pierce of Blaine, Marjorie Weeks of Mars Hill and Hilda Townsend of Newport, special friends, Joyce Clockdile, Katty Crouse and friends at Camper’s Paradise. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Paul Townsend; and her brother, Floyd Weeks. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Tapley Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to the United Methodist Church Vestry after the service.
