BANGOR – Doris Patricia Harper, 79, died Sept. 29, 2003, at a Dover-Foxcroft healthcare center. She was born in Brewer, April 29, 1924, the daughter of Frank L. and Amanda E. (Hart) Harper. Doris was a cook at the Pine Tree Restaurant for many years. She was a devoted daughter, caring for her parents. She is survived by her sister, Inez McTigue of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by a special niece, Elizabeth Huntington of Dover-Foxcroft. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the family lot in Tomb Cemetery Holden.
