DOROTHY ARLENE RICE NORRIDGEWOCK – Dorothy Arlene Rice, 75, passed away July 9, 2007, surrounded by her loving family at Inland Hospital, Waterville. Dot was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Clinton, daughter of the late Georgianna (McLaughlin) Morrison and Charles Morrison. She married Harry Donald Rice, June 25, 1979, in Texas. She lived with her niece, Sylvia Hartsgrove and her husband, Alan Hartsgrove; and her sidekick, Regina. She loved spending time with her family and her friends, music, traveling and doing crossword puzzles. Dot was predeceased by her husband, Harry; her siblings, Basil, Myrtle, Elmer, Henry Charles, Clarence, Eugene, Henry, Edna, Charlie, Beryl, Kenneth, Forrest, Charles Henry Jr., twins, Veronica and Victoria; and a very special nephew, Vernal Campbell. Dot is survived by two sisters, Clara Campbell and her husband, Raymond, of Springfield and Nellie Leary of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Dennis Morrison of New Hampshire; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a dear friend, Debbie Turcotte. Dot will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family thanks Karen G. and all the wonderful nurses for their care and loving support at Inland Hospital. A graveside committal service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Fairview Cemetery, Canaan. Arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison.
