PRESQUE ISLE – Dorothy A. Brown Sperry, 84, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, 2008, at a Mars Hill health care facility. She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in St. Albans, the daughter of Hiram and Lottie (Jordan) Kimball. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and was true to her faith. She attended Full Gospel Assembly, Presque Isle and Washburn Pentecostal Church, Washburn. She is survived by a son, Larry Brown and his wife, Paula, of Presque Isle; a daughter, Brenda True and her husband, David, of Deerfield, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Donna Towne and her husband, Marvin, of Milo; two grandchildren, Heather Perreault and her husband, Richard, of Somersworth, N.H., and Ryan Brown of Presque Isle; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Perreault; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Jeff Brown and his wife, Lisa, of Presque Isle. She was predeceased by two husbands, Waldo P. Brown and Millard G. Sperry; a son, Raymond Eugene Brown; three brothers, Delwin, Wilbur and Kenneth Kimball; three sisters, Florence Brown, Bernice Cormier and Freda Currie. The family gives special thanks to the staff and Dr. Jones at Mars Hill Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Kevin Kierstead officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Johnson Cemetery, Presque Isle. After the interment, a reception will be held at Full Gospel Assembly Church Dudley Street, Presque Isle. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Aroostook Health Center Activities Fund P.O.
