CALAIS – Dorothy L. Dearborn went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Calais Regional Hospital. Dorothy was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Bath, daughter of the late Ralph and Lillian (Sprauge) Kingsbury. She worked for many years with Guilford Woolen Industries as an inspector and mender. Dorothy was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Methodist Women of the Georgia Circle, and the Eastern Star Chapter No. 45. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Dearborn, in 1992; and a son, Gerald Spaulding, in 1998. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Ramsdell and her husband, Walter, of Bradley; a stepdaughter, Gale Parker of Eastport; daughter-in-law, Sheila Spaulding; four grandsons, Troy Ramsdell of Woodland, Kevin Ramsdell of Rockland, Walter Ramsdell Jr. and wife, Kim, of Eddington, and Gerald Spaulding Jr. of Florida; two granddaughters, Jaime McInnis and husband, Charles, of Bradley and Jannelle Snedden and husband, John, of Long Beach, Calif.; three great-granddaughters, and six great-grandsons. A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 30, at United Methodist Church, Calais.
