MONROE, Ga. and ELLSWORTH – Eben Jonathan Seigel, four months old, passed away at the Gwinnett Medical Center, NICU, Lawrenceville, Ga., April 21, 2005. He was born Dec. 16, 2004, in Lawrenceville, Ga., the beloved son of Peter J. and Carey A. (Timmons) Seigel. Eben is survived by his parents; maternal grandmother, Emma (Timmons) Merriweather of Marietta, Ga.; paternal grandparents, Robert and Verlina Cunningham of Ellsworth; paternal great-grandmother, Elinor Sutherland of Millbrook, N.Y.; aunts, April Timmons Lowe of Camden, Ellen Bilotta of Ellsworth; uncles, Randy Cunningham of Kansas and B.J. Cunningham of Bucksport. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Collyer Timmons. Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. Family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eben’s memory may be made to the March of Dimes, Maine Chapter, 12 Acme Road, Brewer, ME 04412.
