THOMASTON – Reta M. Fleming, 73, died April 25, 2005, at a Rockport hospital. She was born June 19, 1931, in Howland, the daughter of James Gordon and Ellen Elizabeth (Lugdon) Wallace. She is survived by four children, Douglas Fleming of Old Town, Ruth Dawes of Deltona, Fla., Gardner Fleming Jr. of Chester and Sonya Thibeault of Old Town; four brothers, Gerald Wallace of Meridan, Conn., William Wallace of Thomaston, Frank Wallace of East Millinocket and Ronnie Wallace of Passadumkeag; three sisters, Theresa Jarvis of Bangor, Ellen Danforth of Bangor and Gloris Jones of Millinocket; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
