EDITH MILDRED PROSSER ‘RABBIT’ BLUE HILL – Edith Mildred Prosser, 83, passed away peacefully May 8, 2004. She was born May 13, 1920, in Blue Hill, the daughter of G. Clifton and Marion (Herrick) Nevells. Edith was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her family and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She is survived by daughters, Nancy Dickey, Marilyn and Gene Hurd, RaeJean and Israel Guthrie; grandchildren, Edwin, Owaissa, Zachary Dickey, Allen and Shane Hurd, Chrystal Osborne, Paula Fitzgerald, Richard Will Jr., Tracy Grant, Christine Gordon, Brian Hurd, Wendy McComb; step-grandchildren, Tonya Shirland, Denyelle Boardman; several great-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews; a stepson, Alden Prosser; son-in-law Richard Will and sister-in-law Margaret Nevells. She was predeceased by her brothers; sisters; her daughter, Mildred Will; her second husband, Raymond Prosser; her first husband, Pete Leach; and son-in-law, Thomas Dickey. At Edith’s request there will be graveside services 11 a.m. May 15, 2004, at Mount View Cemetery in Blue Hill.
