CORINTH – Edna M. Vigue, 100, wife of the late Ernest J. Vigue, died Dec. 3, 2005, in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born March 31, 1905, in Garland, the daughter of John and Lula (Batchelder) McComb. She was a member of the Corinth United Methodist Church, the Rebekah’s, the Garland Grange and the Order of the Eastern Star. Edna loved playing cards and dancing. She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Vigue of Corinth and Beatrice Vigue of Charleston; six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several cousins. Edna was predeceased by two sons, Clayton Mark and Wesley Malcolm Vigue; and a sister, Mildred Clement. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Corinthian Cemetery in Corinth with the Rev. Cynthia Nickerson officiating. Those who wish may make donations in Edna’s memory to the Corinth Volunteer Fire Dept., care of Scott Bragdon, 38 Black Rd., Corinth, ME 04427. Arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Rd., Corinth.
