SOUTH PORTLAND – Elizabeth J. “Betty” Rogers, 84, of Scarborough, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Piper Shores in Scarborough. She was born in Bangor, April 29, 1920, a daughter of Bernice (Silsby) and Leo Jordan. In October of 1953, Betty married Church G. Rogers. Together until his death in 1994, they enjoyed traveling and each other’s company. Visiting hours will be held 8-9 a.m. Saturday, May 15 at Conroy-Tully, South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland, where a funeral service will follow at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Philip Shearman officiating. Interment will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.
