GREENBUSH – Elizabeth R. “Beth” Savage, 52, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at a Lincoln hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born Sept. 5, 1955, a daughter of Richard M. and Clara (Littlefield) Hendrick. Beth loved to be with her family. She also enjoyed crafting; she loved to sew, making many fine quilts. She also enjoyed painting and jewelry making. Beth is survived by her loving husband, Albert T. Savage of Greenbush; her two children, Shannon Clark of Searsport, and Nikolaos Hendrick and his wife, Young Ju, of South Korea; and her one and only grandson, Devin Bryant. She is also survived by her mother, Clara Henrick of Bangor; sisters, Sandra Whitney of Bangor, Nancy Grant of Stockton Springs, Betty York of Belfast and Brenda Edmunds of Belmont; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends and family will gather 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, for a funeral service, with Pastor Harry Thurston officiating. A rose that has faded and ceased to bloom on the other side has been healed in God’s Garden Room. The light that comes through from the other side is the love that forever in our hearts will abide – I’ve left you with memories that were meant to share a hug, a kiss, and emotions that will always be there.
