HOWLAND – Erma M. Page White, 93, died Dec. 17, 2007, at Cummings Health Care Facility, Howland. She was born Sept. 11, 1914, in Weston, the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Davenport) Moody. Erma attended schools in Davidson and Belfast, graduating from Crosby High School, Belfast. She was a resident of Passadumkeag for many years and served as town clerk and treasurer there for 25 years. She was an avid homemaker and enjoyed her knitting and rug hooking for many years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Leon Cleveland Page; her second husband of 48 years, Glen E. White; a brother, Omar Moody; a son, Richard Page; two grandsons, Michael White and Ryan Boober. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon and Richard Merrill of Howland; two sons, Dana White of Brewer and Glen E. White and Alice of Zebulon, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Bea Page of Bradley; a sister-in-law, Katherine Moody of Bangor; a very special nephew, Gary Moody and his family of Stacyville; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Clayton Crocker officiating. Spring interment will be at Gould’s Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag. Those who wish may donate in her memory to the Activities Fund at Cummings Health Care Facility.
