MILFORD – Errol Stanley Bryant Sr., 76, passed away Oct. 25, 2006, after surgical complications. He was born March 25, 1930, in Passadumkeag, the son of Arthur and Lucy (Richardson) Bryant. On Oct. 12, 1957, he married Edna Anderson and together they had two children. Errol was very close with his son; they worked side-by-side for 20 years. Errol spent his spare time hunting and fishing with his son, as well as gardening and working around the home. He took great joy in his family including his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a real outdoorsman. Errol will be especially missed by his beagle, Lady, who traveled everywhere with him. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Ella, Gladys, Liberty, Jim, Grover and Mary. Errol is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Edna Bryant; son, Errol Bryant Jr.; daughter, Dr. Sheila Nabors and her husband, Dr. William Nabors; grandchildren, Morgan, Whitney, Lauren and Billy; a very special nephew, Harold Bryant and his wife, Marlene; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Milford Cemetery with the Rev. Patricia Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, Ronald McDonald House, 654 State St., Bangor, ME 04401 or First Congregational Church, 138 Main Road, Milford, ME 04461. The Bryant family wishes to acknowledge the valiant efforts of Dr. Hernandez and the surgical team at Eastern Maine Medical Center. They also extend a heart-felt thank you to Dr. Ritter and his entire staff for their care and compassion over the past 20 years. Arrangements are under the care of Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
