PRESQUE ISLE – Estelle M. Wilcox, 88, died Dec. 23, 2007, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1919, in Caribou, the daughter of Robert and Agnes (Cleavette) Monahan. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle. Estelle had been employed by and was a branch manager for Northern National Bank for many years. She is survived by her sons, Dwight D. Wilcox and his wife, Gloria, of Mapleton, Gerald C. Wilcox and his wife, Maureen, of Hermon and Kermit E. Wilcox and his friend, Shirley Umphrey, of Waterville; a daughter, Wyona W. Reynolds and her husband, William, of San Antonio; grandchildren, Mark Wilcox and his wife, Kim, Michelle Ewings and her husband, Neil, all of Presque Isle, Monica Charrette and her husband, Randy, of Oakland, Robert Rioux and his wife, Lisa, of Winder, Ga., and Larry Wilcox; great-grandchildren, Jay, Deseri, Kacey, Karson, Cassidy, Colby and Daniel; two cousins, Harriett Goodwin and Arlene Marsan and her husband, Ray; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Joyce Thurston. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Wilcox Sr.; a son, Kendall Wilcox; stepson, Lawrence Wilcox Jr.; and special aunt, Caroline Plummer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Raymond Mor-ency, celebrant. Relatives and friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church. A spring interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
