BRIDGEWATER – Evelyn Kingsbury, 84, died Saturday Dec. 17, 2005, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Bridgewater, the daughter of Bruce and Lavina (Hallett) Kinney. Evelyn was a housewife, who worked along her husband on the family farm. She enjoyed listening to country and western music and dancing. She is survived by her grandchildren, Dale A. Dearborn of Mechanic Falls, Darla Allen of Lewiston, Denice Fletcher of Swanzey, N.H., Wayne Dearborn of Waterford, Conn., Robert Marek of Bristol, Conn., Carmen Crouse of Augusta, Ronald Crouse Jr. of Fort Fairfield, Ryan Crouse of Augusta, and also several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her two husbands, Guy William Crouse and Donald Kingsbury; two children, Ronald William Crouse Sr. and Judith Marie Marek. She was also predeceased by seven siblings, Elmer Russell Kinney, Audrey Pearl Kinney, Joyce Marie Kinney, Greta Ugina Kinney, Malcolm Wallace Kinney, Rellan Charles Kinney, Averill Arlene Kinney. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, at the Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill, with the Rev. Richard Bell officiating. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006, at Corner Cemetery, Bridgewater.
