BLAINE – Frank Bell, 95, died Feb. 26, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born April 20, 1911, in Beachwood, New Brunswick, the son of Harvey and Amanda (DeMerchant) Bell. Frank was employed by Adelman Brothers, Blaine for more than 45 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Louise (Newell) Bell of Blaine; a son and his wife, Roger and Cindy Bell of Mars Hill; stepchildren and their spouses, Ronald and Bess Caldwell of Tennessee, David and Jean Caldwell of Mars Hill, Patricia and Norman Burgher of Mars Hill and Carolee and Clarence Kline of Maryland; sisters, Bertha Mersereau and Hazel Rideout, both of Mars Hill, Clara Grant of Bangor and Joyce Clevette of Presque Isle; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceasing him were a daughter, Patricia Pryor; sisters, Edna and Marie; brothers, John, Malcolm, Ronald and Ransford Bell; and a stepson, Jerry Caldwell. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill, with Pastor Kevin Smart officiating. Relatives and friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A spring interment will be at Marshall Cemetery, Westfield.
