FREDERIC PORTER BURNHAM BRIDGEWATER – Frederic P. Burnham, 68, died Oct. 3, 2003, at his home following a long illness. He was born Oct. 21, 1934, in Old Town, the son of Aubert and Delores (Nadeau) Burnham. Surviving him besides his wife, Avis, of 42 years, are his two children, a son, Gerald (Jerry) Burnham and his wife, Donna, of Moore, Okla.; a daughter, Lisa Buchholtz and her husband, Cameron, of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren, Anida (Burnham) Duarte, Johnathan Burnham and Caitlin Buchholtz; a brother, Roger Burnham and his wife, Joann, of Alton; two sisters, Dawn (Burnham) Morse and her husband, Elmer, of Oak Hill, Fla., and Jane (Burnham) Babin of Howland; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fred’s caretaker, Susan Tapley of Monticello and a very special thank you to the Hospice workers. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Bridgewater Full Gospel Assembly Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the church 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Frank Randall officiating. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery in Bridgewater. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to Hospice of Aroostook, P.O. Box 688, Caribou, ME. 04736. Arrangements are in the care of the Duncan Funeral Home in Mars Hill.
