HAMPDEN – A Mass of Christian Burial for George O. Simard will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Western Avenue, Hampden, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt, pastor, celebrant. Burial at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, with military honors, will be at a later date.
