EDDINGTON – George Philip Kelley, 69, died May 6, 2007, at his home. He was born March 1, 1938, in Eddington, the son of Howard G. and Stella M. (Kerr) Kelley. George was employed with Eastern Fine Paper Co. He was a member of Rising Virtue Lodge No. 10 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Bangor and Anah Shriners. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club No. 3177, Brewer and the National Rifle Association. Surviving are two sisters, Lucille Dexter and Charlene Bowden, both of Eddington; and one aunt, Louise Robertson of Eddington, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie Hadley. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Dr. Tracy Reeves, pastor of the North Brewer Eddington United Methodist Church, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.
