EAST BLUE HILL – Ruth Price Holbrook died May 1, 2007. She was born Nov. 9, 1911, in Walpole, Mass. Ruth graduated from Wheaton College, Norton, Mass., in 1934. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Gardner Holbrook, in 1979, after a long and happy marriage. Her only son, Henry Gilbert Holbrook, died two months before her. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah, Penelope and Sarah; son-in-law, Abbott Cutler; daughter-in-law, Sherry Holbrook; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-stepgrandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at East Blue Hill Church, East Blue Hill. Flowers are gratefully declined.
