HANCOCK – Gloria Regina Beale, 60, died Dec. 14, 2003, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 22, 1943, the daughter of Dwight H. and Vergie I. (Gatcomb) Thorsen. Gloria was a member of the St. Andrews Lutheran Church of Ellsworth. She is survived by a son, William B. Beale and wife, Liza, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Nanette Bickford and husband, Arthur, of Hancock; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Butler Beale; five sisters, Caroline Emerson, Ruth Warren, Marion Whalen, Frances Moon, and Nanetta Thorsen; and a brother, Dwight H. Thorsen Jr. Friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Jordan Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. with the Rev.
