ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Gordon C. Raymond, 83, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at a Florida hospital, Zephyrhills. Mr. Raymond was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Myron B. and Jessie (Banks) Raymond. He came to Zephyrhills in 1982, from Old Town. Mr. Raymond was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was of the Baptist faith. He was also a retired make-up man for the Bangor Daily News. He is survived by a son, Michael Raymond of Holden; four daughters, Judith Lamotte of Zephyrhills, Saundra Sherburne of Milford, Sharon Morin of Bangor and Jennine Quin of Auburn; a stepdaughter, Donna Jellerson of Zephyrhills; 11 grandchildren, two half-brothers, Leroy Nydeggar and Laurence Nydeggar. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
