CAMDEN – Gordon K. Harrington, 84, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Penbay Medical Center. He was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Guilford, the son of Gladys (Bradford) and Dana Harrington Sr. In 1966 Gordon married Dorothy R. Josselyn. He was a truck driver for most of his life and was most recently employed by Knox Felt Co., Camden. Gordon was also a member of the Guilford Odd Fellows and Guilford Fire Department for more than 25 years as a volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, softball and was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan. In 1979 he became disabled and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Malcolm, Haven and Clifford; and four sisters, Charlene McAfee, Marilyn Stewart, Donna Marilyn and Norma Dalton. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three stepchildren, Pamela Stewart and husband, Dough, of Warren, Cynthia Jameson and husband, Lee, of Warren and Robert Josselyn and wife, Grace, of Hope; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Harrington and friend, Bea, of Fairfield Center and Dana Harrington Jr. of Rockland; a sister-in-law, Eunice Harrington of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Interment will be held in the spring at Mountain View Cemetery.
