BANGOR – Helen (Smith) Drew, 83, wife of the late Lenard A. Drew, died March 21, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1923, in Levant, a daughter of Winslow C. and Alice G. (Tibbetts) Smith. Helen graduated from Hermon High School, Class of 1943. She was employed many years as a baker, first at F.W. Woolworth on Main Street and later Quality Bakery. She is survived by a brother, Eldred Smith of Levant; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her husband, Lenard passed away Oct. 17, 1999. A graveside service will be held later in the spring in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport, at a time and date to be announced by Foley Funeral Service.
