BREWER – Helena M. Myers, 80, wife of the late Robert W. Myers, died Jan. 16, 2006, at an Orono healthcare center. She was born Jan. 10, 1926, in Bangor, the daughter of Charles L. and M. Elizabeth (Breau) Tourtillotte. Helena was a lifelong resident of South Brewer and attended schools in Brewer, graduating from Brewer High School in 1943. She worked as a telephone operator for a few years before marrying Robert Myers. Helena was also a long time member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Brewer. A loving, caring and devoted mother, Helena is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Myers of Brewer; sisters-in-law, Wilsie Myers of New Hampshire, Marjorie Hobby of Orrington, Beverly Myers of Orono; brothers-in-law, Clarence and Arthur Myers, both of Orono; a special aunt, Rhoda Breau of Brewer; special cousins, Aldana and Jerimiah Breau of Bangor and many cousins. Friends may call 2-4 and 6- 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Joel R. Cyr, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
