UNION – Heribert A. Goudreau Sr., 84, peacefully joined the Lord Thursday, April 8, 2004, at a local hospital. Heribert was born March 25, 1920, in Wotton, Quebec, Canada, the son of Joseph and Ophelia Goudreau. Heribert is survived by his wife, Louise Goudreau; four sons, Gerald, Daniel, Heribert Jr. and Joseph; six daughters, Lise, Real, Rhea, Diane, Mary-Lou and Antionia; brother, Leo Goudreau; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, David; and brother, Bertrand. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2004, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., where services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, with Pastor David Chicone, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., after the service.
