ST. FRANCIS – Hubert J. Michuad, 83, died Oct. 24, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. He was born in St. Francis July 10, 1920, the son of Victorie and Celest (Jandreau) Michaud. Hubert will be remembered for his great sense of humor, whom enjoyed playing the harmonica and dancing. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Nona Marie (Jandreau) Michaud of St. Francis; his son, Royce Charette of Mattawamkeag; a special nephew, Wayland Plourde of East Granby, Conn.; two granddaughters, Dalena and Tanya Charette, of Mattawamkeag; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to both his parents, he was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home in Fort Kent and Wednesday 8 a.m. until time of departure for St. Francis . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the St. Charles Catholic Church in St. Francis with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating. Committal services with full military honors will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery. At the request of the family those who wish in his memory may donated to the Hubert Michaud Fund care of Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, 14 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
