BANGOR – Jacob N. Johnson, 4, died March 23, 2004, at a Bangor hospital after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born April 17, 1999, in Bangor, the son of Trisha Johnson and Joseph Hoxie. Jacob was very curious, intelligent, loving and brave. He had the most contagious giggle that brightened everyone’s day. Jacob was a very special child who touched the hearts of everyone who met him. He brought many smiles and laughs to his family and friends. Jacob enjoyed jumping on his trampoline, riding the snowmobile, telling stories, playing and spending time with his loved ones. Surviving Jacob in addition to his parents are his brother, Joseph Hoxie Jr., maternal grandmother, Brenda Johnson; paternal grandmother, Bette Hoxie; great-paternal grandmother, Virginia Garceau; special ‘gram’ Audrey Junkins; David, Sue, Shaun, and Dane Mooers, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2004, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., with Pastor Peter Remick officiating.
