BAILEYVILLE – Virginia L. “Louise” (McLellan) Kidder, 75, died March 23, 2004, at a Calais hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1929, in Princeton, the daughter of Marshall F. and Lila (Hunnewell) McLellan. Louise was a member of the woodland Baptist Church and worked in the AWANA Youth Group in the church for many years. She enjoyed singing, flowers, puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Halburton Kidder in 1996. Surviving are her son, Kevin Kidder and his wife, Denise, of Baileyville; a daughter, Karen Moraisey and her husband, David, of Princeton; two sisters, Winnifred Carter of Hancock and Princeton and Eleanor Wentworth and her husband, “Sonny”, of Princeton; six grandchildren, Alecia and Kimberly Moraisey, Vanessa Kidder, and Brian, Monica and Zachary Taylor; a special loved one, Brittany Wescott; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday with Pastor Earl Durost officiating.
