As a young man he worked as a logger in Rangeley. Later he was employed by Maple-wood Poultry Co., where he took on many jobs, one of which was driving a grain truck. The family thanks Ken Flagg and Karla, who did so much and were dedicated friends; Duane Warren, his favorite barber; Olivia, who never forgot his birthday; Susie, who always kept in touch; Don and Alice, who kept him supplied with fruit, veggies and an occasional clam or two; Onie, a special friend for 50 years; and Dr. Deborah Peabody for her special care.
