FORT KENT – Jan R. Hoover, 68, died March 11, 2005, at his residence in Fort Kent. He was born Aug. 1, 1936, in Neshoppen, Pa., the son of Robert and Alma Hoover. Jan was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite hobby was building and flying model airplanes. He is survived by two sons, Brian and his wife, Carl Hoover, of Harrisburg, Pa., Kurt and his wife, Jeanette Hoover, of Northeast, Md.; two grandchildren, Morgan and Ethan Hoover, of Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Stephanie Sorber and companion, Norbert Hilton, of North Berwick, Gretchen and her husband, Bob Depass, of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by both his parents. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
