EAGLE LAKE – Jeanne L’Italien, 81, died July 20, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of Fred and Sophie (Sirois) Berube. Jeanne was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters in Eagle Lake. She will be dearly missed her family and friends. She is survived by five sons, Larry and his wife, Virginia L’Italien of Eagle Lake, Norman and his wife Theresa L’Italien of St. John, Allen and his wife, Russette L’Italien of Hampden, Rodney L’Italien and fianc?e, Claire, of Eagle Lake, Danny and his wife, Amanda L’Italien of Eagle Lake; one daughter, Lucy Ann and her husband, David Maldanado, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Lester and Odette Berube of Eagle Lake; and two sisters, Freda Landry of Portsmouth, N.H. and Claudette Berube of Eagle Lake; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert L’Italien and one brother, Hampy Berube. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent and 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Committal service will follow in the parish cemetery.
