CARIBOU – Jeanne S. Willette, wife of Ronald J. Willette, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at a Presque Isle nursing facility. Jeanne was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Mont Joli, Province of Quebec, Canada, the daughter of George and Marie Stephens. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; a sister, Geraldine Comeau; nephews, Michael Comeau; his wife, Angela and their daughters, Katie and Liza; Timothy Comeau and his wife, Eleanor, and his two children, Mathew and Amy; nieces, Stephanie Dambois and her husband, Alan, and her daughters, Nichole, Tory, and Janis; Faith Dione and her husband, Ronald, and their son, Christopher and daughter, Debbie. Jeanne had a varied career as a secondary school teacher and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Maine at Orono and did advanced work at the University of Connecticut at Storrs. Donations in Jeanne’s memory may be made to the Aroostook Alzheimer’s Support Group, care of Mrs. James Robinson, 78 Cedar St., Presque Isle, ME 04736.
