HAMPDEN – Jacquelyn S. Paul, 71, wife of the late Robert T. Paul Sr., died Oct. 8, 2003. She was born Aug. 14, 1932, in Owls Head, the daughter of Fred A. and Nathalie A. (Robbins) Snow. Jacquelyn grew up in Rockland where she graduated from Rockland High School in 1951. She was a 1953 graduate of Boston University and had been a resident of Hampden since 1959. Jacquelyn worked for the Hampden School System at the elementary school level for 25 years. Surviving are two children, Robert T. Paul Jr. and his wife, Sheryl, of Garland, Texas, and Valerie J. Paul of Emeryville, Calif.; three grandchildren, Matthew, Jesse and Cheyenne Jacquelyn Paul all of Garland, Texas; one sister, Carolyn Elliott and her husband, Daniel, of Owls Head; several nieces and nephews. Jacquelyn was predeceased by her husband of 44 years in 1999. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden with the Rev. Deborah Jenks, pastor of the Hampden Congregational Church, officiating. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden.
