PRESQUE ISLE – Joseph L. Lee, 78, died early Friday morning, March 16, 2007, at a Mars Hill health care facility. He was born Aug. 26, 1928, in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, the son of Henry Miles and Mary Elizabeth (Cathcart) Lee. He worked as a purchasing agent and sales representative for John Deere Co. at Gould & Smith, Presque Isle and for the Great Northern Paper Co., as a wood scaler. Joseph was an outdoorsman, loved to fish, hunt and trap. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Opal (Lawrence) Lee of Presque Isle; a son, Michael Lee and his wife, Tina, of Presque Isle; a sister, Violet Lee of St. Andrews, New Brunswick; three grandchildren, Katlyn, Kristen and Madison Lee of Presque Isle; and a niece and nephew, Kelley and Bruce. Relatives and friends may call noon-1 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle.
